A five day Workshop on Records Management Targeting stakeholders
in both the public and private sector is scheduled to run
from the 13th to 18th November 2011. Details on registration
will be communicated.
The Kenya Association of Records Managers
and Archivists is a no-profitmaking organization registered
in October 2010 with the aim of organizing, representing and
acting as the professional body for persons working in or
interested in records and archives management and to govern
members in all matters of professional practice.
The association also fosters and promotes
education, research, training and invention in records and
archives management through partnering with public and private
institutions.
The association draws its membership from records managers
and archivists in public and private institutions.
Objectives
Maintain a register of professional
and certified affiliate members qualified to practice RAM.
Promote growth of the RAM profession and unite professionals
in RAM field through conferences, workshops, seminars, meetings,
forums and any other interaction mode that will facilitate
linking up of members.
